Timeless Tuesday ~ Scraplift

Happy Tuesday everyone!  It's Timeless Tuesday challenge day for Flourishes.  Today's challenge is EXTRA special because it's my first time posting a challenge as part of the TT Team... YIPPEE!!

My challenge for you this week, FTTC180, is to scraplift a Senior DT member!
So go to the Flourishes Gallery and find a card or project that inspires you
and scraplift it!!  It's as simple as that!

For my inspiration this week, I chose to scraplift Cindy Lawrence's card, "Bringing Sunshine"...

Here is what I came up using Cindy's card as my inspiration...

Home Is...

I decided to take the basic design of Cindy's card but rotate it on it's side.  For my focal image and sentiment I used the On The Porch stamp collection.  I stamped my image on Flourishes Classic White cardstock using Memento Tuxedo Black ink.

I coloured my image using the following Copic collections:

Timeless Tuesday ~ Christmas in July! & a SALE!!

Ho, ho, ho... howdy everyone!  It's Timeless Tuesday challenge time over at Flourishes!  My favourite day of the week without doubt.

This week's challenge, FTTC179, comes from the lovely, MonaMona has challenged us to create a Christmas themed card or project this week!  Here is what I came up with...

Get Cozy

I chose to feature the Flourishes' Snow Wonderful stamp collection this week.  This stamp set contains two large winter themed focal images and 6 different sentiments.  Each of the large shapes fits the Spellbinder's corresponding die, the Tailor-Made Classic Keyhole Die, especially made for this Flourishes stamp set.

For each of my focal images, I stamped my images using Memento Rich Cocoa ink onto Flourishes' Classic Ivory cardstock.

I coloured my images using some wonderful Christmas colour palettes from the following Copic collections:

I prepared two cards this week.  I just couldn't resist using both fabulous images!

Stay Cozy & Warm

To create the glittery effect, I stamped and coloured my images, then I covered with with Soowang tape and then sprinkled very fine glitter over top.  It gives that focal image just that bit of sparkle and shine!!

For my sentiments, I used Memento Rhubarb Stalk, a dark, rich red ink colour.

Timeless Tuesday ~ What's Cookin'?

Happy Tuesday everyone!  It's Timeless Tuesday Challenge.  This week's challenge is brought to you by the lovely, Amanda, our Team Coordinator

FTTC187:
Amanda's challenge this week is to create a favorite
Summer (or any other season) Recipe
on a card decorated with your Flourishes stamps.

For this week's challenge I chose to create a criss-cross card to pop my recipe card into...

What's Cookin'?

Once you remove the blue belly-band, this is the recipe card tucked inside!  It features the stamps from the Garden Fresh collection.  Aren't they delicious??!!

I was inspired to colour my beets and carrots to look like these gorgeous veggies...

On the reverse side of my card, you'll find a yummy recipe for "Easy Carrot Cake"!  I used the Flourishes downloadable digital image "Fresh Recipes".  Super easy to print and use!!!

I printed my recipe card and prepared my card base using Flourishes Classic Ivory cardstock.  All images were stamped using Memento "Tuxedo Black" ink and coloured in using the following Copic markers collections:

Butterfly Garden

For my card I chose to use:

I began building my focal image by stamping and heat embossing my butterflies over top of a piece of Flourishes Classic White Cardstock.  Then I inked my entire piece of cardstock using my 3 ink colours; orange, teal and brown.

I stamped my 3 different ferns over top of my inked background and then misted my 3 separate colours over that.  I added a spritz of water and even added some tiny, tiny flakes of white embossing powder over my image.

Here's my BOLD & Beautiful card for this first noon-time challenge...

Friend

For my card today I began by creating a vivid back ground.  I first grabbed my damask stamp from the Fanciful Flourishes collection and some Flourishes Classic White Cardstock.  I inked it up with Versamark ink, stamped my damasks and embossed then with black embossing powder.  Then I used a variety of Ranger Distress inks and inked up the negative space.

Above my greeting I used the mid-sized floral sprig from the Summer Blossoms stamp set.  I the following Copic collections to colour in my image...

I created a fun focal sentiment using the Heart Lines sentiment collection stamped using Memento Tuxedo Black ink.  I used the Spellbinder's Classic Heart die set to make a mini window within my greeting.

Timeless Tuesday ~ Gettin' Sentimental

Happy Tuesday everyone!  Welcome to the Timeless Tuesday challenge at Flourishes!

Today, we are ushering in this challenge because not only is Flourishes releasing a new single stamp set with a beautiful sentiment, we are helping Jan Marie, the owner of Flourishes launch her new blog! Want a peek at the new sentiment?

The stamp is called Sweetness of Friendship and it takes on the mantra of Jan Marie's new blog - a place where friends can gather to enjoy the laughter and sharing of pleasures (in creating!) The stamp set is available right now and you can check it out in the Flourishes Store right HERE!!! It's a beauty for sure!

What's even more fun? Jan Marie is giving away this stamp to the first 25 people who leave comments on today' post  over on her new blog - Jan Marie's Flourishes!!!

This week's fabulous challenge is from the very talented, Denise.  Denise has challenged us this week to create a project with the sentiment as the focus.  Here is my sentiment focused creation for this week's challenge...

Take Time

For my sentiment, I chose this beautiful verse from the Orchids stamp collection and stamped it on Flourishes Classic White cardstock using Memento "Black Tuxedo" ink.  I mounted my sentiment on one of the lovely label shaped stamps from the Country Charms stamp set stamped using Ranger's "Worn Lipstick" Distress ink..

I even used the gorgeous medallion from the Medallion Motif stamp collection to stamp on my die cut background.

Come and join us for this week's fabulous challenge.  I can't wait to see what you create!

As you make the rounds in today's Timeless Tuesday hop, you'll notice that some of the designers are using a fresh picked 123 Create Kit!
