Timeless Tuesday ~ Let It Shine!

Hiddy-ho neighbours!  How's your week going?  Good I hope.  Welcome to another fabulous Timeless Tuesday Challenge for Flourishes!

This week, our lovely hostess, Cheryl, is challenging us this week to...

Let it Shine!
This week incorporate a light source into your card or project.
This could be a candle, lamp, lighthouse, the sun---anything, as long as you...
"Let It Shine!"

Another fabulous challenge by our Friends of Flourishes Team!

For my creation this week, I chose to feature the sweet little lantern from the S'More Fun stamp collection.
I started my card by creating a 5 1/2 x 5 1/2 card base using "Berrylicious" cardstock from the Color Made Easy "Poppy" collection.

I cut a piece of simple patterned paper and stamped a variety of daisy images from the "A Year in Flowers - 3" stamp set using Memento "London Fog" ink.  I inked the edges of my paper with Ranger "Pumice Stone" and matted it using Flourishes Classic Black Cardstock.

Next I die cut a label shape from Flourishes Classic White Cardstock and stamped my lantern from the S'More Fun stamp collection and coloured it using the following Copic Collections:

To complete my card front, I added some White Cotton Linen ribbon and a layered tag with a simple "Take Care" sentiment from the "Tag Lines" stamp set.

To finish off my card I decorated the inside using the same patterned paper and stamped daisies and an additional sentiment from the "Mountain View" stamp set.
Thanks for stopping by!  I hope you enjoyed my card for today.  Make sure you take a few moments and check out my fellow design team members creations for this week...
Happy Tuesday everyone!

Wow, Allison! Every card you make WOWS me! I love the golden glow you gave the lantern, and it is matted so beautifully. The black circle die cut looks great, too. You are so good and making every single part of a creation special...I'd never have thought of using that daisy stamp for a background, but it's perfect!
